The Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) is the peak body for the Australian franchise sector. It provides advocacy, education, and resources to support franchisors, franchisees, and franchise service providers. Our mission is to promote best practices, improve industry standards, and represent our members’ interests to government and regulators.

Membership is open to franchisors, franchisees, and suppliers to the franchising sector. We also offer membership to service providers, such as law firms, banks, and consultants, who work within the franchise sector. The FCA welcomes businesses that meet our membership criteria and are committed to ethical franchising practices.

FCA members gain access to a wide range of benefits, including:

Yes, all members must adhere to the FCA’s Code of Conduct, which upholds ethical franchising standards, fosters transparency, and ensures compliance with the Franchising Code of Conduct.

EVENTS Ts&Cs

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
  • Tickets may be transferred to another attendee from the same organisation up to 48 hours before the event.
  • Date or event transfers (moving to a different FCA event) are not permitted.
  • If you are unable to attend and do not transfer your ticket before the deadline, the ticket will be forfeited.
  • The FCA reserves the right to make changes to the event program, speakers, or venue if necessary.
  • In the unlikely event that the FCA cancels the event, attendees will be offered transfer to another event.
  • By registering, attendees agree to abide by all event guidelines and behaviour standards.
  • Photography and videography may be taken at the event and used for FCA promotional purposes.
