The Franchise Council of Australia (FCA) has announced Rose Vis, Co-founder and Director of V.I.P. Home Services, as the winner of the 2026 FCA Hall of Fame, recognising a career spanning more than five decades and a lasting contribution to Australian franchising.
Rose helped build V.I.P. Home Services from its beginnings in Adelaide in 1972. Established in 1972 and incorporated in 1979, V.I.P. became the first home services company to franchise in Australia. It has remained an industry-leading innovator ever since. Today, V.I.P. operates one of the largest networks in Australia and New Zealand, with more than 750 active franchisees.
Rose remains actively involved in the family-owned business and sits on the V.I.P. Board of Directors.
Her commitment to the sector extends well beyond her own business. V.I.P. has been a member of the FCA since its inception, and Rose has served on the FCA’s South Australian Committee since 2003, including a term as SA President. She also served on the FCA Board from 2013 to 2016 and again in 2019.
Rose has previously been recognised by the FCA for her Outstanding Contribution to Franchising and was named South Australian Franchise Woman of the Year in 2005.
