Legends of Australian Franchising gathered in Melbourne today to celebrate Maxwell Scott Raine, the Franchise Council of Australia Hall of Fame 2024 inductee.
Max’s son Angus E. Raine accepted the award on behalf of his late father, who passed away in February 2023.
Raine & Horne Group was a pioneer of franchising in the Australian market and Max was a true franchise champion.
The Australian franchise hall of fame honours the franchising sector's legends
When the FCA’s Hall of Fame was created in 2003, the original selection panel searched back to the origins of franchising in Australia and through a meticulous process of elimination identified the ground-breakers, influencers, quiet achievers, selfless contributors and outstanding performers who endured the trials and built the foundations of the sector’s success.
Each year, nominations are called for the Franchise hall’s consideration, with new inductees (if any) announced at the FCA Gala Dinner at the conclusion of the annual National Franchise Convention.
The FCA is proud to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of its Hall of Fame inductees.
