The CSIRO have been provided $20 million in funding to boost the SME Connect Program. The program will connect small and medium sized enterprises (SME) to research expertise, world class facilities, training and access to funding support.
SME Connect Program will grow and scale small business in the following industries: technology, manufacturing, health and biosecurity. The SME Connect programs include:
- CSIRO Kick Start
- Innovate to Grow
- Rise Accelerator
The CSIRO Kick Start: is suitable for Australian start ups and small businesses which provides access to CSIRO’s research expertise and access to funding.
Innovate to grow: this is a free program specific for SME’s to make progress in research and development.
RISE Accelerator: suitable for businesses who are wanting to expand overseas between India and Australia.
