FCA’s  Community Engagement Officer has crafted a timeline for our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to streamline our project's progress. To keep everyone informed, we're reestablishing RAP working group meetings to share updates. This week, we'll also be discussing budget allocations to ensure the project continues smoothly.

In addition, we're organizing First Nations cultural safety training for the FCA team. This training will provide essential knowledge and awareness of First Nations People and the intricacies of Reconciliation. Meanwhile, we're in the process of appointing a RAP Chairman. This role will offer guidance, ensuring the RAP is informed by First Nations perspectives. The Chairman will facilitate First Nations involvement in decision-making processes, guide culturally appropriate RAP development, implementation, and reporting, and assist in addressing sensitive areas like graphic design and Cultural Safety training for our staff.
